Why Should I apply to be a caregiver with San Diego Compassionate Caregivers?
For over 10 years, San Diego Compassionate Caregivers has been matching caregivers like you with their ideal clients. We can give you the training and 24/7 support you need to do your best work. We pay our caregivers a competitive wage, offer flexible schedules, provide ongoing paid training, and believe in treating every employee and client with dignity and respect.
Where will my work or clients be located?
We service all throughout San Diego County and North County San Diego. We aim to provide clients with close proximity to the caregiver.
What training do I need to be a caregiver?
We hire professional caregivers with a range of experience and credentials. We train our caregivers to support clients in the activities of daily living, and provide specialized training for caregivers working with clients age-related conditions or disabilities.
Do I need to own a car to be hired as a caregiver?
Owning your own vehicle is not required to be hired as a caregiver. However, since many clients need help with errands, transportation, and social outings, you do need a current driver’s license and clean driving record to be allowed to drive your client’s car instead of providing your own.
What type of schedule can I expect working with SDCC?
We offer flexible schedules. Caregivers can choose to work Full-Time or Part-Time.
How much do caregivers make?
Your pay will depend on location and other factors, but all of our payment structures are competitive and include the option of direct deposit and daily pay.
